MaaS Global welcomes the priorities and the initiative from the Flemish government to develop a framework for MaaS. We do, however, think that the legal and regulatory structure of this agreement and any flanking agreements need to be clarified, as does any appeal structure related to the agreements.
As such this document cannot be considered to be an agreement on MaaS but rather quite a loose letter of intent, and should be treated as a first step towards an agreement. We also question whether current agreements can form future policy but do naturally support this goal to ensure the longevity and stability of the ecosystem. We also warmly encourage the government to specify the timeline, so that the process is clear for all stakeholders.
